Missing Home and All the Wonderful People There

Best parents a girl could ask for!
Catie and I woke up early in hopes that our slacking group members had actually finished their parts and had uploaded it late at night. So much for wishful thinking. Still nothing. Frustration was reaching it's boiling point. We went to class and chatted with our other group members about the situation. Since the group members had still not uploaded anything, we spent time during our class rushing to finish the assignment. Although I'm pretty fast at whipping out PowerPoint decks, I was really mad that I was missing the lesson in order to do someone else's work. In between classes I grabbed a quick lunch, per usual. My second class was very hard to pay attention in. Although in theory eMarketing and Social Networking sounds interesting, I have a tough time really focusing on the subject matter. Once class was over I grabbed myself a chai tea and worked on my expense report for the semester. I then got to Skype my parents and catch them up on the adventures in Brussels and Amsterdam. After chatting with them I went to the last class of the day. That was as exciting as Irish history itself -_-. I then went home for the night to make myself some dinner. For some reason homesickness kicked in and I really wished I was back in STL. This was prolly thee worst night of the whole semester. Skyping my mom and dad again helped me a lot. Sometimes talking with mom and dad is the best medicine. They helped me feel better and showed me all the wonderful things about being abroad. I'm so grateful I have them as my parents.

Cheers,
Jenny
