Spring 13 Reunited

Thursday, 3.6.2014:

I went to class and learned more about linear programming and listened to a presentation from the Dublin consultants of FTI Consulting. Guess even going all the way across the pond doesn't escape recruiting. After class I worked on my paper a little more and made sure I had everything ready for Spring Break. I then went home to take a shower and let my friend Grace in since she too, was visiting. After showering and eating some lunch I packed and went to the local library to print off my boarding passes. I then waited around for Becky and Colleen to get back from their day trip to Cork and for Grace to get into town after her delayed flight. After a long wait, Becky and Colleen finally returned and Grace had made it to my place. The four of us went to a local pub for dinner and drinks. I loved being there for Grace's first Bulmers and Colleen's and Becky's first Guinness.

We all had some good old Irish food and then went back home to meet up with Tory, Jen and Hannah, three of the last people coming into town to visit. Before heading home we picked up some liquor for Unofficial the next day. My guests couldn't believe the Dublin prices. Their complaints didn't get much sympathy from me since I have to pay these prices on a daily basis. Once we were all stocked up we went back to my place to catch up and share some of our adventures. In due time, Hannah, Jen and Tory all made it to my place. It was absolutely wonderful to have everyone there, it was like a mini pledge class reunion since everyone, except Colleen, is in my pledge class in PGN. After a bunch of catching up and having Catie and all her friend come back home, we called it a night since we were getting up at 6 to celebrate Unofficial. Dreams of green and cider ran through everyone's head as we laid down for the night before Unofficial.

Cheers,
Jenny
